Interested in a hands-on learning experience? Curious about archaeology? Get involved with the Chesapeake Archaeology Lab!
William & Mary undergraduates have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with Professor Gallivan and affiliated graduate students. Students start out as volunteers, but have the opportunity to earn 1-3 credit hours with ANTH 360 (Projects In Anthropology) or ANTH 465 (Practicum in Anthropology). These projects can eventually translate into senior honors theses (ANTH 495 and ANTH 496) or ANTH 460 (Independent Research). Opportunities to join the lab are available at the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.
